Furniture Production Meeting Global Standards
HATIL runs a business of hundreds of crores every year. The credit goes to your love and trust in us. However, managing such a massive production volume while maintaining supreme product quality is a bigger challenge than anyone can imagine. That’s why we use robotics. These state-of-the-art machineries serve us with the fastest production speed, the finest shapes, the perfect setup, and the best endurance.
Besides, there are other benefits. And how do we ensure all these? Let’s dive in!
In 2019, HATIL introduced its first automated robotic system, Zirani Bazar Factory at Savar. With an investment of BDT 200 Cr., this state-of-the-art machinery doubled the production capacity. Often workers are skeptical of automation as they think it may reduce the need for human labor and cause them a lay-off in the company. However, it should be clarified that robotics are invested in and applied to make production seamless and grow the business through faster and bigger productions, not to eliminate the human touch that ensures the aesthetics of the products.
The machinery used at the Savar factory is empowered with a robotic arm for lacquering, computer-aided design machinery, and curing equipment using ultraviolet light. It was an ideal combination of man and machine, according to the top management of HATIL. The machine started its journey by creating furniture and woodwork under three broad categories: home, office, and door.
What are the benefits we are getting from robotics and modern machinery? These machines help us create components from raw materials like wood, foam, and fiber. It means we reduce industrial waste like never before.
Moreover, the powerful varnishing arm attached to the robotic machine uses high-quality Italian Ultraviolet (UV) and Polyurethane (PU) finishes to complete the varnishing process. All of it is supervised by our experienced factory supervisors and assembled by well-trained workers. Thus, we ensure the perfect combination of man and machine to serve our customers with global standard furniture.
HATIL started using imported oak wood in 2009 and then shifted to German-based The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified “oak and beech oak” to make furniture. But a high-quality raw material alone cannot create the standard we have set in this country. These materials are put into place by our dedicated team of factory workers that the machine uses in production, the eye-catching designs were created by designers that the machine follows during the manufacturing process. This is the reason we produce thousands of furniture maintaining their shape, size, fitting accuracy, varnishing glamor, and durability. Besides, it helps our workers stay away from risky jobs such as dust collection, and chemical usage during lacquering. HATIL never had to eliminate its employees because of robotics. Rather, the workers have learned to take control of this technology, use it for better outcomes, and serve you with the legacy of authentic and best furniture.
That’s how we combine trends with technology to create trust and tradition in the field of creative and sustainable furniture production. Because we know that people refer to HATIL’s name as the modern-day synonym for “global quality furniture”. We thrive by keeping our commitment to the trust of millions of hearts.
